^Lot 2174 Ranger Model 101.11 .22 LR NVSN

Vintage semi-automatic sporting rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle. Trade name for Sears, made by Savage/Stevens in the late 30's, early 40's. It has a 24" blued barrel and receiver with a dovetailed blade/red bead front sight, adjustable rear sight, 3/4 length magazine tube, ported chamber, metal trigger guard, serrated trigger and a large cylindrical charging handle that pushes inward to lock the bolt open or closed with a thumb safety on the top right. It sits in a one piece, straight grain wood stock with a black butt plate. Metal finish looks faded and has turned a brown/gray patina. The plain wood stock looks good with no cracks, chips, dings or scratches. Bore looks outstanding, bright.
