Fraternal organization pith helmet manufactured by Lilley & Co. in the late 1800's or early 1900's. The exterior of the helmet is kakhi-colored felt. Embroidered velvet badge is stitched on, top spike unscrews and is one of the original 1880's US military helmet spikes that Lilly & Co. used on many of their fraternal and ceremonial helmets in the early 1900's. Original scale chin strap with monogrammed attachment buttons - the monogram is "UR" (Under Ranks). Interior leather sweat band. "The M.C. Lilley & Co. Colombus,Ohio" marked on the interior spike base. Overall really great condition.
