^Lot 1121 Japanese WW2 Type 90 Civil Defense Helmet

This is a rare Type 90 Civil defense helmet which was issued for use in the Imperial Japanese Army, hence the addition of the five pointed IJA star which was added to the front. This is a rare and little known variation of the military issue type 90 Tetsubo helmet. The Japanese WWII Civil Defense helmet was the final of four variations of the Type 90 Army helmet and was designed specifically for mainland civil defense. Standard original paint in the shade of "dead Grass", no liner or chinstrap.
