Sporterized Turkish military bolt action rifle imported by CAI, Georgia VT. Dated 1943. Features blued finish, walnut stock (has been cut), handguard, blade front sight, rear sight removed, manual safety. Receiver bridge drilled & tapped for the installed Williams rear peep sight. Front swivel removed from the rear band. Bore is fair to good, a bit dark, frosted, strong rifling. Retains 40% finish, much bare metal or fading finish, some light pitting. Wood is fair to good, slightly rough texture, with scratches and scuffs. Condition is NRA Good+ (sporterized) *** C&R Firearm ***
