Trade marked, "Tillotson Columbia Place Sheffield" on ricasso w/ dye-struck lion pommel and pearl scales. Circa 1850. Features a 10 1/4" blade, 14 1/2" overall. Associated original to period scabbard, fits well but from earlier knife, has scalloped metal tip and German silver throat w/hanger button. Knife usually has etching of California Gold Seeker, but has been used and polished to no etching visible on blade. Condition is overall Very Good. From the Joseph Musso Collection
