Lot 848 Kentucky To Plains Rifle
Marked "M. Dickson, Louisville, KY." Half stocked 31 1/4" octagon barrel, .50-.52 Cal. with brass patch box. 47 1/4" overall. Small silver inlays, pewter forend cap w/ brass plate type inlay on bottom of forend. Small hole behind tang possibly for peep-sight. Screw tapped into barrel 1 1/2" in front of rear sight for possible repositioning. Lock is tight functioning with visible engraving. Unknown if used in movies as of this cataloging.
