Lot 809 Spanish Notch Bowie Knife
Bowie knife Circa 1830's. Features a 11 3/8" clip point blade with "Spanish Notch" at rear, no markings with ebony grip mounted in German silver. Includes period re-dyed black leather scabbard with original metal tip and metal button hanger. Good to very good condition with minor pitting and normal aging. Blade is illustrated in the Texas Gun Collection Magazine, Spring 2000, The Joe Musso collection.
