Single-Shot. Falling-Block Action. Manufactured 1894-1933. "Ideal" rifle. 26" round/Octagonal with front blade, sporting rear sights. External hammer, & finger lever/ Blued finish. Walnut stock with crescent steel buttplate, schnabel forearm. Action is crisp/tight. Wood is good with scratches/dings, there is two small sections filled with plastic wood on both sides of the wrist below the tang, the tang is a little proud of the wood.. Bore is rough with scattered light pitting. Blued finish is faded, turning a light brown patina. Stevens address/patent on barrel is crisp/clear. Comes with 6 vintage 25-20 rounds, & 2 empty shell casings. NRA Condition-Fair to Good. C&R Firearm.
