Iron framed single shot derringer circa 1870's with 2-13/16" part round part octagon barrel, walnut birdshead grips, fixed sights and barrel tips downward for loading. Very faint markings on top of barrel remain. Action in working order. Bore is poor to fair, pitted and dark with visible rifling. Metal surfaces have been cleaned, with some patina remaining, some light pitting, slight contour changes from heavy polishing. Grips are very good condition. Barrel is a bit loose on frame when closed. Condition is NRA Good *** Antique Firearm ***
