SN: 779626A. Bolt-Action ,22 Sporter. Made in West Germany. The model 164 was the Anschutz model 1416. Imported by Savage in 1965. 24" round barrel, with sights removed. Laminated hardwood stock, checkered forearm, and pistol grip, cheek rest, schnabel fore end. Right mounted thumb safety. Mounted with a Redfield 1 3/4x5x scope, clear optics. Blued metal finish is about 98%, with some minor scratches/rubs. Bore appears excellent/bright. Action is smooth/tight. Wood is very good, with some minor scratches.
