This gun was manufactured by Hi Standard for Sear and Roebuck using the J.C. Higgins trade name using a Swedish HVA (Husqvarna) action. 1959-61. Controlled Round Feed Action. 22" tapered barrel, front blade (Needs to be tightened with small allen key) adjustable u-notch rear flip sight with white diamond, serrated trigger, chrome bolt with blue shroud, blind magazine with hinged floorplate, sling swivels, receiver drilled/tapped for optics. Smooth pistol grip stock with factory hard rubber buttplate, manual sliding safety. Receiver rail marked " HVA Action-Made in Sweden". Bore is very good/bright. Blue is about 98%, Action is smooth/tight. Wood is good/sound with some scratches. NRA Condition-Very Good. C&R Firearm.
