US military semi-automatic rifle, manufactured circa 1943, H & R barrel 7.62mm, non-matching serial numbers on receiver and trigger assembly. Features parkerized finish, wood stock & hand guards, 'P' cartouche behind the triggerguard, 24" barrel (SA marked), adjustable sights with protected front blade & protected rear peep, fixed magazine for en-bloc clip, manual safety, stacking swivel, sling swivels, trap door in butt. Bore is excellent condition. Metal parts retain 98% medium gray color on receiver 30% bluing on barrel. A little hint of rust on rear sight, few handling marks. Wood is excellent overall.
