^Lot 219 Winchester 1885 High Wall 38 WCF SN: 42026

This is a Winchester M1885 High wall , manufactured 1890. Lever-action, drop breech. 30" octagonal barrel with front blade, and notched rear sight. Lower barrel is stamped ".38 W.C.F.", Serial number on lower tang. Winchester markings in two lines on flat of barrel. Bore is very good, with good rifling, action is smooth/tight. Wood is tarnished, scratches and small dents with crescent steel buttplate. Metal finish has turned a dark brown patina, Some blue on the triggerguard. Markings are crisp/clear NRA Condition-Very Good as Antique. Antique Firearm.
