Nimschke of New York who engraved over 5,000 guns for various makers from the 1850's to 1900. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gun is housed in oak treasure chest type box lined in purple felt. Interior of lid is embossed with oval scroll device. CONDITION: fair to good. Metal heavily cleaned to silver over considerable pitting. Grips with oil refinish. Mechanically good, hinge loose.
