Cal. 7mm Mauser. NSN. Bbl. 30". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2100yds. Ilion made example w/ last patent date of Oct. 22nd, 1901. Walnut stock set w/ bottom mounted sling swivels. Cleaning rod present. CONDITION: stock set has added oil finish w/ a small crack on handguard ahead of front sight, scattered dings, handling wear & flaking oil. Metal is mostly a gray patina w/ a few dings & scattered oxidation. Bore has worn rifling w/ scattered frosting. PROVENANCE: From the Lifelong Collection of Glen E. Mattox. (23-5008/MJC).
