Cal. 22 Short. S# 141 under left grip. Bbls. 3 3/16" six shot cluster. This unique pistol derives it's name from the grooves at the rear of the bbl. cluster which are a key part of the revolving mechanism. Bbl. cluster loads through hole on back of frame. Ring trigger. 2 piece bakelite grips. Less than 1000 mfg. 1861-62. CONDITION: metal has dark brown gray coloration indicating touch up finish over scattered light pitting. Grips show light wear. Functioning action. Lightly pitted bores retain partially intact rifling. (01-23425/DS). ANTIQUE. $2000-3000.
