Cal. 44 Cal. (44-40 WCF). S# 76731 (1895). Bbl. 20" w/ barleycorn front sight & carbine rear sight. Two piece walnut milk pail forearm & replacement straight grip stock w/ non matching carbine buttplate. CONDITION: metal has faint traces of blue in protected areas; balance is cleaned gray patina w/ areas of pitting & corrosion. Forearm has been heavily sanded & refinished. Replacement stock has light finish w/ gaps around action & handling marks. Gray patina buttplate w/ pitting & reblued screws. Fair bore w/ large areas of pitting. (01-24226/MD). ANTIQUE. $1,400-1,800.
