Blue finish with fire blued hammer & trigger. 2 piece checkered hard rubber rampant colt round butt grips with lanyard ring at butt. 1898 mfg. UNATTACHED ACCESORIES: English trade case. Lid interior has original paper label marked "Colts. Patent. FireArms, Manufacturing Cl. / 26. Glasshouse Street, / Picadilly Circus, London. W." Restored red felt interior with 22 round wood cartridge block. Case contains Ebony handled turn screw, brass cleaning rod with jag & brush, Silver plated oil bottle & key. CONDITION: Fine. Over 80% lightly faded blue shows edge wear with scattered small handling marks. Grips show light wear & fading. Sound action. bore is bright with strong rifling.
