PUMP RIFLE. Cal. 22 Short. S# 212814. Bbl 24" octagon. Left side of bbl., frame & top of breech block have rampant lion over "GP" London proofs. Sporting sights. Late 2nd model with mortised breech block. Walnut forend & straight grip stock with crescent steel buttplate. CONDITION: original blue has largely faded to brown. Wood has slightly darkened appearance showing scratches & marks. Toeline has plugged hole from swivel attachment. Bore has lightly worn rifling showing some very light pitting. (22-1867/DS). CURIO. $900-1,400.
