Cal. .30 Gov. '03. S# 79898. Bbl. 22". Replacement pinned blade front sight. No. 50A carbine & musket rear sight. Action has saddle ring on left side. Band fastened finger groove walnut forearm & hand guard. Straight grip walnut stock has steel trapdoor carbine buttplate. Mfg. 1915. CONDITION: exposed portion of bbl. retains 70% dull fading blue showing spotted corrosion & muzzle wear. Action has 30% dull blue fading to brown showing carry wear. Age darkened original finish shows numerous scratches & handling marks. Sound mechanics. Dark heavily pitted bore. (23-2533/DS). CURIO. $2000-2750.
