CAL. 50. S# 12424. Apprx. 17,700 mfg. Bbl. 22 1/4" round with dovetailed front sight & flip up rear sight. Iron mountings & long iron patchbox. CONDITION: Metal surfaces have a dark toned patina with pitting and handling marks. Saddle ring bar has been repaired with a brazed connection to the screw eyelets. Top tang has been replaced and some of the screws are replacements as well. Walnut stock has deep handling marks and a large repaired chip behind the hammer, a hairline crack behind the top tang, as well as, forward of the buttplate tang. Bore has deep sharp rifling with pitting inside of the grooves. (01-23192/ZAL) ANTIQUE $800-1200
