SWORD. 28.5" unstopped fuller blade, B&G copy of 1850 hilt with undecorated plain quillon & rarely seen plain undecorated smooth pommel. Assembly number "4" stamped on bottom of guard. CONDITION: very good overall, all original, blade has been cleaned to gray overall with pitting. Hilt has bend in quillon, coppery brass patina. Original grip retains about 75% original leather and complete tight single brass wire wrap.(02-19117/JS). $2,000-2,500.
