^Lot 1304 WWII GERMAN M1935 NAVY/COAST ARTILLERY HELMET.

This helmet has a dark gray-green painted finish. The left side has a gold Wehrmacht style eagle and the right has the National Colors. The inside rear of the helmet is stamped “_755” and the inside left is stamped “ET66”. Black leather chinstrap and brown 9-tongue size 58 leather liner. The inside crown of the helmet has a lengthy ink stamp dated 1939. CONDITION: helmet finish is approx. 90%. The Navy/Coast Artillery decal is 85% and the National Colors decal is 85%. Chinstrap and liner show light wear. PROVENANCE: From the Lifelong Collection of Glen E. Mattox. (02-18927/BF). $1,000-1,500.
