Lot 1254 GERMAN OCCUPATION POLISH RADOM VIS 35
SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 9mmL. S# R9758. Bbl 4 5/8". Vis 35 semi-automatic pistol manufactured at the Radom arsenal in Poland while under German occupation. Left side of slide bears standard manufacturer markings, with both eagle/77 (Radom) and eagle/623 (Steyr) waffenamts. Right side of frame is lightly hand-etched "3-7-13". Metal components are blued, with the frame being mounted with 2 piece checkered black plastic "FB" and "VIS" grips. All numbers are matching and include the frame, slide, and barrel. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some wear and thinning that shows through to gray patina overall. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some smoothing, and some scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable.
