Black powder rifle, percussion CVA model Frontier carbine chambered in 50 Caliber with a 24” octagonal barrel with a twist rate of 1:48. front post bead, and adjustable rear sights. The bore is very dusty but appears good with strong rifling, two-cock action works well, the blue barrel has scattered areas of rust/pitting. Some rust on the hammer, wood is sound with handling wear, minor scratches, the butt plate has been removed, replaced by a rubber slip-on recoil pad. NRA Condition-Fair. Antique Firearm.
