^Lot 514 Rick & Smith Boot Pistol .40 Cal. SN: 17

English made single-shot, percussion "Boot Pistol", manufactured circa 1850-1860, Civil War era. 6" round/octagonal barrel with sighting bead, wood "Bag" grips. Barrel flat marked what appears to be "Rick & Smith London", underside of barrel marked "17". Bore looks good, hammer locks up tight, grips are very good, dull blue barrel is turning a gray patina. frame is in the white with scattered light pin-prick pitting. NRA Condition-Very Good as Antique Firearm.
