South American military/police contract rifle. Right butt stock stamped "Policia 2-122". Features 30" barrel with three bands, provision for cleaning rod (rod missing), bayonet lug, blade front & tangent rear sight, sling swivels. Tang marked with Remington Address, Patent date. Bore is rough/pitted with rifling present, action is smooth/tight. Blued finish has turned a mostly gray/brown patina with scattered pitting/rust spots. Wood is sound with numerous dents/scratches.
