SN: 5016736. US military semiautomatic rifle manufactured circa 1953. Features parkerized finish, blued Springfield bolt, wood stock & hand guards, 24" barrel, adjustable sights with protected front blade & protected rear peep, fixed magazine for en-bloc clip, manual safety. Bore is very good condition. Metal parts retain 98% even finish. Wood is very good condition, with minor scratches & small dents, no cartouches. No importer marks observed. Small parts marked "IHC" include rear sight, bolt, trigger housing, hammer. Op rod marked "NM". ( National Match) SA barrel dated 64. Condition is NRA Very Good++ (arsenal rebuilt) C&R
