This outstanding mid-1800's iron ring bit shows incredible style with hand forged metal players on the side cheek pieces, the bottom of the ring, and has an unheard of double layer of chainmail using a double lip bar, along with a shaped mouth-piece and triple copper crickets. Showing wonderful age and condition while being extremely rare and showy.
