'The Speedmaster' Vintage tube-fed semi automatic sporting rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle, circa 1938. Barrel marked "22 LONG RIFLE ONLY - SMOKELESS - GREASED". Blued finish, 24" take-down barrel, dovetailed blade front sight, adjustable rear sporting sight, smooth case hardened trigger, push button safety, smooth walnut beavertail forend and pistol grip shoulder stock with loading port & knurled metal buttplate. Bore is very good condition. Retains 80% coverage of fading finish, thinning and turning brown, approx 25% darker blued color, with edge losses, areas of light patina Barrel numbered "44428". Wood is very good. refinished, good fit to metal,slight loss at toe, small scratches & dents throughout. Condition is NRA Very Good+ (stock refinished) *** C&R Firearm ***
