Cal. 22 LR. S# 34709. Bbl. 15" matching numbered part rnd., part oct. w/ combination front sight; folding peep sight at rear. Mfg. 1896-1916 (approx. 15,000 units) w/ firing pin in frame w/out bushing. Improved features from prior models to include standard trigger w/ smooth face in guard, longer grip (matching numbered on left side under grip along w/ "12"; plus on butt cap) & no side plate. Matching bbl. latch & pencil numbered grips. Uncommon all blued finish except nickeled matching numbered iron skeletonized stock. CONDITION: very good to excellent overall appearance w/ very slight thinning on trigger guard. Good nickel plating on stock having some peppery oxidation mainly on top rail; slight blistering of finish on balance. Very good snug fitting of stock. Very good right grip & near excellent left.
