Cal. 44-40. S# 42607. Bbl. 5 1/2". Six shot long flute cyl. Blue finish w/ fire blue handling trigger. 2 Piece checkered hard rubber rampant colt grips w/ lanyard loop at butt. Mfg. 1899. CONDITION: 50% dull lightly faded blue showing numerous dents & scratches. Hammer screw has screwdriver distortion. Cyl. pin latch has a replacement screw. Grips show heavy wear. Hammer will not hold at full cock position. Lightly pitted bore w/ intact rifling. (23-784/DS). CURIO. $800-1,200.
