REVOLVER. Cal. 31. S# 13293. Bbl. 3 1/2” w/ New York address. Brass bead sight. Round five shot cyl. w/ stagecoach scene roll engraving. Blue finish w/ case colored hammer. 1 piece walnut grip. Mfg. 1856. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: period casing w/ red cloth fitted interior. Interior shows moderate wear. Lid has brass shield engraved w/ initials “WAB”. Case contains an ornate pocket size powder flask, 2 cavity mold, wrench & cap tin. CONDITION: very fine. 70% lightly faded blue showing carry wear. Cyl. has weak scene. Hammer retains traces of case colors. Wood has worn finish w/ numerous marks & small dents. Sound action. Bore retains sound rifling. (01-22858/JB). ANTIQUE. $2,500-4,000.
