Cal. 22 Short. S# 569146A. BBL. 24" octagon w/ M1890 sporting sights. Scarce & desirable nickel plated action & crescent steel buttplate. Grooved forend & straight grip walnut stock. Mfg. 1915. CONDITION: Bbl. & mag tube blue is turning brown showing slide wear. Action retains over 90% nickel showing small spots of loss, pin prick oxidation and small scratches. Wood has dark worn appearance showing dents & marks. Dark lightly pitted bore retains intact rifling. (22-1871/DS). CURIO. $2250-3000.
