Cal. 22 WRF. S# 277383. BBL. 24" octagon. Model 1890 sporting sights. Very late 2nd model with mortised breech block. Scarce & desirable uncheckered pistol grip walnut stock has small hard rubber grip cap and crescent steel buttplate. Serial number indicates 1906 as an approx. date of mfg. CONDITION: Original blue shows light wear with fading to brown showing small scratches & dings. Wood shows wear & handling marks with a hairline crack left of top tang. Bore retains sound rifling showing very light pitting. (22-1863/DS). CURIO. $2500-4000.
