Cal. 58. NSN. Bbl. 9" oct. smoothbore, engraved "London" & stamped w/ crown V & P proofs. Screws have light engraving. Pinned walnut stock. Brass pineapple finial triggerguard w/ rolled edges; other brass furniture includes shield wrist plate, thimble, 2 pipes & ramrod tip. Left ear of stock has stamped "GF". CONDITION: bbl. & lock have brown patina appearance w/ brazed on blade front sight, one large dent on top flat. Intact stock has good varnish w/ numerous light impressions & scratches having a few that pierce finish along w/ a few sm. cracks & chips. Brass has pleasing patina w/ ramrod tip loose. Screws showing light scratches & distortion. Bbl. screw has improper fit to tang & ramrod has improper fit to channel. Lock appears to function when cycled by hand Fair lightly pitted bore.
