1) Overall length 43". Blade length 35 1/4". Plain blade with a single wide fuller is marked at the ricasso “CURDTS” on one side and “SOLINGEN” on the other. Brass hilt with a 2 branch guard. Wire wrapped leather grip. Iron scabbard. CONDITION: blade shows some areas of original factory polish. Entire hilt has a pleasing mustard patina. Grip shows expected wear and wire is complete. Scabbard has a light gray overall patina.
2) Overall length 43 1/2". Blade length 35 1/2". Plain blade with a single wide fuller stamped at the ricasso “SHEBLE & FISHER PHILADA”. Solid brass hilt. Wire wrapped leather grip. Iron scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a light gray patina with minor staining. Hilt is a tiny bit loose and shows a wonderful deep chocolatey patina. Grip shows light wear and complete wire. Scabbard has a dark patina. (02-18983/BF). $800-1,200.
