Cal. 40. NSN. Bbl. 6” octagon w/ small blade sight. Six shot round cyl. Bar hammer boxlock action has integral nipple shield. Left side plate is marked “ADAMS, LONDON”. Sides of action have scroll engraving w/ highlights extending to the hammer, trigger guard & bbl. Blue finish w/ case colored hammer, cyl. & loading lever. 1 piece checkered walnut round butt grip w/ German silver oval nameplate along backstrap. CONDITION: bbl. & frame retain over 70% lightly faded blue showing spots of corrosion. Cyl. & loading lever retain 30% fading case colors. Hammer has 70% bright case colors. Grips show wear w/ some flattened diamonds. Sound mechanics. Bore is generally bright w/ strong rifling showing spots of pitting near muzzle. (01-22621/DS). ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
