Cal. 50 (56 – 50). S# 8494. Bbl. 20" with blade front sight and carbine leaf rear sight. Case colored action and lock with saddle ring and bar on left side. Band fastened forearm and straight grip walnut stock with sling swivels and steel carbine butt plate. Tubular magazine inserts through buttplate. CONDITION: bbl. blue is fading to brown. Action retains some lightly visible case colors. Stocks show dents, scratches and chips retaining legible cartouches. All wood and metal surfaces have heavy coat of added protective varnish. Action is sound. Mag tube is intact. Bright bore retains strong rifling. (01-21966/DS). ANTIQUE. $1,500-2,500.
