SERIAL 14633. BARREL 22 1/4". CALIBER 50. Breech loading percussion carbine made by Richardson & Overman of Philadelphia. This is the standard model with Gallager patent and maker legend. Features iron patch box on right side, folding leaf rear sight, Walnut butt stock. Lever allows barrel to move forward for loading. Condition. Legends are sharp. Bore is excellent. Fine working order. Metal is soft clean homogenous patina. Wood is excellent, proud to metal , with couple of dings and impressions. Has a nice clean look. ANTIQUE
