Lot 1227 RARE MARLIN SINGLE SHOT REVOLVER
SERIAL 1023. BARREL 2 1/16". CALIBER 22R. Referred to as the First Model Baby 22 made from 1863-1867. Top of barrel is stamped J.M.MARLIN NEW HAVEN CT. Exact number made unknown but less than 4000. Nickel plated brass frame, swing out barrel, nickel plated with bird head grips and spur trigger. Condition. Most nickel remains on frame with about 30% on barrel. Excellent grips. Working order.
