Lot 1087 EARLY BRITISH LONG SEA SERVICE FLINT PISTOL
SERIAL NUMBER N/A BARREL 12" CALIBER 62 SMOOTHBORE MANUFACTURED CIRCA 1700's. Crown GR marked Tower lock with 12" tapered round smooth barrel. One piece walnut stock with 2 brass loading rod pipes/ Brass butt cap and trigger guard. Marked "W.E.D.C. 1818" on brass on left side. Believed to be French & Indian war period with later continued use. CONDITION. Good with slight wood loss at front of lock and period of use repairs at rod channel. Lock operates properly. Metal is dark brown uncleaned patina. Bore is dark. ANTIQUE
