SERIAL NUMBER 5782 BARREL 2 1/2" CALIBER 41 RIM FIRE MAUFACTURED 1865-70. Produced in a small quantity of approx, 12000 before the company being sold to Colt. Brass frame with iron barrel. Silver plated finish with modest factory engraving on both. Birds head grips with checkered 2 piece walnut grips. Marked on top barrel flat " NATIONAL ARMS CO, BROOKLYN N.Y." CONDITION. Very good with barrel retaining 60% silver finish and frame retaining 10% silver. Bore is very good and action operates properly. Grips are very good. ANTIQUE
