SERIAL 17434. BARREL 5 1/4". CALIBER .44 AMERICAN . MADE IN 1871-72. Second model top break, six shot, blue finish, smooth walnut grips, no lanyard ring. These cut down's were very popular in the old west and you can see examples in just about every book on gunfighters. Finish is mostly a mottled gray brown blue patina.
