^Lot 981 MARLIN MODEL 27-S SLIDE ACTION RIFLE

SERIAL NSN. BARREL 24". CALIBER .25RF. Features a round barrel, blue finish, take down, sporting sights, grooved fore-arm and rifle walnut butt stock. The model started out as the model 27 in 1909, and with the improved safety as the 27S in about 1911. It was made up to WWI, and again after the war until 1932. Condition. 70% blue starting to turn with freckling on barrel. Frame retains 70% blue with balance drifted. Stock is very good. Rifling is pronounced. C&R
