SERIAL 11583. BARREL 32.5". CALIBER 50-70. MADE 1868-72. Lock is dated "1863" with "US SPRINGFIELD" & eagle. Block is dated "1869" with "US" and "eagle head". Matching serial number on left side of barrel & frame. Full length walnut stock has two cartouche stamps on left side. Features 900 yard folding military rear sight, 2-bands, full metal ramrod, sling swivel. Condition. Smooth patina. Legends are sharp. Bore is bright.
