BARREL 39". CALIBER .577 PERCUSSION. This is a contemporary rendition of an original 1853 rifle and not an original. Features LONDON ARMORY CO with crown stamped on lock. Brass furniture. Features 3-bands, metal ramrod, sling swivels and full length walnut stock. The stock has numerous British acceptance stamps along with a hand carved MS on fore-end right side as well as on right side of stock. Condition. No original finish but now a smooth homogenous soft patina. Stock is excellent. Bore is bright. Brass is toned. ANTIQUE
