^Lot 791 US MODEL 1816 HARPERS FERRY FLINTLOCK MUSKET

BARREL 42". CALIBER 69. This example was made at Harpers Ferry in 1837, and is so stamped on lock with US & eagle. Proof marks stamped on left side of barrel at breech. All iron mountings to include 3-bands, sling swivels, no barrel rear sight, iron ramrod, and full length walnut stock. Condition. Small repaired crack on left side at breech, , otherwise excellent stock with cartouche stamp on left side. Metal is smooth patina. Fairly clean bore. Nice example that was well cared for. ANTIQUE
