SERIAL 75756. BARREL 22". CALIBER 52 PERCUSSION. Standard Civil War era carbine. Barrel stamped New Model 1863. Sharps patents on both sides of frame, saddle bar & ring, no patch box, single band, Lawrence stamped rear ladder sight, walnut stocks. Condition. Metal is smooth gray patina. Stocks are very good with usual war dings. Rifling is sharp but there is evidence of corrosion. Missing tape primer spring. ANTIQUE
