SERIAL NUMBER: NSN. BARREL: 39". CALIBER: .50 CAL CENTERFIRE. MANUFACTURED: 1880's. Made for an unknown military, by Remington. Patent dates on the top of the tang go through 1889. Blade front sight, with typical 3-notch rear. Bright finish has worn to a mixed bright brown patina. Oiled wood stock and furniture. CONDITION: Metal is fair, with a mixed bright brown patina finish. Wood has minor handling marks, scrapes and scratches. Bore is clean overall, with good overall rifling retained. Some light frosting in the grooves. Hammer is tight. Extractor is present. ANTIQUE
